Grammy and Happaw are here!

My parents arrived on Saturday to help us get ready for Jacob. They've played with Eli so that Aaron and I can get things in order before life gets crazier on Wednesday!

Easter Sunday

Here are a few pics before church. We had a great, Christ-centered Easter service today. Later, we had dinner with one of Aaron's colleagues. They have four children, so Eli got plenty of play time! They even hid some Easter eggs for him. He's getting to be a pro at egg-hunting! Hope you all had a wonderful Easter. He is risen!

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to our church's Community-wide Easter Egg Hunt in one of the local parks here in Fayetteville. Last year it was freezing and Eli had to wear a snow suit! Today was much warmer. I thought about forcing him to smell a Reese cup beforehand to ensure that he found plenty of eggs with those inside, but I decided against it at the last minute... Can you tell he had some Cheetos for lunch? We stopped at Chick-fil-A on the way home for a photo op. Do you think the kid might be a little confused as to what Easter is all about after today???

A Heavy Load

News flash! Off-brand diapers are not as absorbent as name brands! Hey, I'm not the one with the doctorate in the family... Yes, Eli challenged our recently purchased Target diapers (I tried to save us a buck since the boy is resisting potty training big time), and you can guess who won. We didn't photo the drenched pants he had on before this shot! And, there's a reason why Aaron is holding Eli at arm's distance- a pleasant package for us in the rear! We live and learn...

As "Sunday Best" as we can get

We enjoyed some great warm weather this weekend, as you can see from my previous post. The "opposite" pictures were taken on Saturday and it was about 70 degrees. These were taken yesterday before church and before the cold front that we're experiencing today. Aaron cut his and Eli's (grammatically correct?) hair on Saturday night, so I had to get some shots of my cleanly-shaven men.

Opposites

Okay everyone- here are a few opposites for you to guess. They're kind of tricky... The last picture was just a cute shot; a rare moment of stillness and some degree of normalcy in the smile.
