Fall Fest at UBC

Here are some pics from the Fall Fest held at our church on October 28. Eli was Captain Hook and Jacob was a frog (for the time being...on Halloween he'd be the crocodile that chased Captain Hook but we didn't have the croc costume yet). How fitting was it that one of Eli's good buddies, Cade, was Peter Pan!!!

Malloween Party

Aaron and I thought we'd host our 2nd not-so-annual Malloween Party in late October. Our first was back in Indiana. "Malloween" in that the guests had to bring something made from marshmallows or marshmallow cream. Yum! Here are some pics from the night!

Jacob and the Leaves

Tried to capture some pics with Jacob and some fall leaves. Not an easy task. This was the best I could do with my camera and my busy boy.

Blocks...finally!

Eli has never really been into blocks. Give him letters and numbers any day! And, when we did encourage playing with blocks, he wanted us to build with him. But, I entered the living room a few weeks ago and behold! I had to take some pictures of his creations! I was so proud of him for building these all by himself! Now, I'm no block-expert, and I'm biased, of course, but I think these are pretty good!

Playin' Fort

Rainy day outside...most of October was down here.

Pretty Good One

This is a pretty good shot of the two. Taken mid-October.

Kid's got a future...

Sometimes Eli takes the neatest pictures at the coolest angles. This is a self-portrait.

Experimenting with the Spoon

Thought I'd document Jacob's first experience with using a spoon. He was very proud of himself! Note the amount of applesauce that didn't make it to his mouth...

Jacob's Pasttime

This is one of Jacob's favorite things to do...much to mommy's chagrin.

Eli's First Day at Wee Care

Eli's first day of preschool at Wee Care. He's with his teacher, Mrs. Bowman.

An Impossibe Task

I attempted to take some pictures of the boys at the end of May that I could turn into wallet sized-gifts. Not an easy task...but here are some of the best.

Antonio

Our friend Antonio came over to fix us a real Italian pasta dish. He had to head back to Italy the following day, so we didn't say good-bye but see you soon! Twist my arm to go to Italy to visit him!

Birthday Cake

Eli chose a Madagascar theme for his party. Since the second movie came out last Fall, Madagascar party supplies were not easy to come by. Thank goodness for the Internet! The cake turned out pretty cool!

Eli's 4th Birthday

We had Eli's birthday party at a local park. It was pretty chilly and storms were threatening, but we managed to make it through!
