Party at the Pattons'

Our Bible Fellowship (Sunday School) class had it's Christmas party at our house this year. These were the only two pics I took- too busy having fun! (I like how Kelli seems so pensive about the food choices!) It was a sweet time of fellowship, prayer, and praise. A memorable night all around!

Sunday pics

I tried to get a good pic of our sweater-clad boys in front of our Christmas tree this morning. Still coveting that SLR digital camera.... This was the best I could do. The picture of Eli in his jammies is in front of our Jesse tree. It's our tree that we add an ornament to each day leading up to Christmas Day. Each day's ornament represents a story from either the Old or New Testaments, and it's a way to teach our little ones God's attributes and His plan for our Savior. And, of course, after I took Eli's picture he had to take mine.

Christmas craft

Eli's buddy Mason came over to play on Thursday night. Rather than take the easy way out this time (pop in a DVD), I decided to do a Christmas project with the boys. We glued buttons to our Christmas trees, and it was an instant success! They stuck with it for close to 45 minutes! Hip hip hooray for glue and buttons! I was actually really amazed at how well they shared the one bottle of glue. We had a good time. Side note: Eli learned to use scissors recently. Notice the tongue sticking out? It's a sign of deep concentration and a habit inherited from his mother sadly.

Thanksgiving Day

Aaron was "in charge" of Thanksgiving this year, since I went to Louisville at the last minute to see my Mammaw. Here are the few pics he was able to capture while cooking dinner! Antonio, Aaron's student from Italy, shared the day with Aaron and the boys. Hopefully, the good meal was payment for entertaining Eli!
