Characters
See the "Disney Trip- We Survived!" post for the first entry from our trip. Who has longer lashes- Eli or Minnie? (I'm just jealous...) For those of you who have never seen "Little Einsteins" on Playhouse Disney, the third picture is Eli's favorite character from the show, Quincy. He's probably 8 or 9 years old and can play any instrument he picks up! Realistic, I know. I'll have to admit that you can't beat seeing the excitement on a child's face when he sees one of the characters he loves. Thanks for making this trip possible, Grammy!
Family Fun at Disney
See the "Disney Trip- We Survived!" post for the first entry from our trip. The top picture here was taken at The Beach Club before our character breakfast in the Galley. The second is a group shot of our family at The Grand Floridian after dinner at Citricos. The last shot is Eli, cousin Dylan, Grammy and Happaw on a boat trip on the lake in front of the Magic Kingdom.
Disney Trip- We Survived!
I'm posting three entries today from our Disney trip this month. We arrived at the Contemporary Resort at Walt Disney World on Thursday, June 5. We met up with Grammy, did some quick shape reviewing in the hotel room (always teachable moments with Grammy), and then got ready for some fun! These are all pics from the hotel- statue by the pool, balcony view, in-room shot, and fountains at the pool. Note that we're labeling it our "Disney Trip" rather than our "Disney Vacation". Lots of work with a three-year-old (Jacob was a breeze compared to his brother!). But, as the title shows, we survived and had fun anyway!

Birthday Smiles
Who says babies don't smile until they're a few months old? We took these pictures the day after Eli's third birthday. We celebrated it on May 17 since it was a Saturday. I didn't take many stills, but I'm going to try to figure out how to upload some of the video we took at his party. Eli helped his daddy plant some blueberry plants that morning, as you can see from the peat moss on his face. Later that afternoon we had a simple get-together with our buddies Joey and Kelli and their kids Mason (4) and Kelsie (9).
