Gettin' Ready for Mickey!

We're headed to Walt Disney World next week thanks to my mom and her Panasonic Academic Challenge. The real challenge will be travelling with a 3-year old and his 2-month old brother! But, we're grateful for the chance to visit Grammy and Happaw and see Mickey. I'm sure we'll have lots of pictures to post when we get back!

Birthday Smiles

Who says babies don't smile until they're a few months old? We took these pictures the day after Eli's third birthday. We celebrated it on May 17 since it was a Saturday. I didn't take many stills, but I'm going to try to figure out how to upload some of the video we took at his party. Eli helped his daddy plant some blueberry plants that morning, as you can see from the peat moss on his face. Later that afternoon we had a simple get-together with our buddies Joey and Kelli and their kids Mason (4) and Kelsie (9).

First Week of May

One Month Old!

Hard to believe Jacob is one month old today! Time does indeed fly by- except of course at 2:00 am during feeding time... He's been a great little baby so far, and we're enjoying his sweet presence in our family.

Comparison

Aunt Carolyn requested pictures of both boys at the same stage as newborns to do a comparison. It was hard to find two pictures with the same poses, but I did my best. What do you think? Do they favor one another in any way? I'd love your feedback!

Grammy's Visit

My mom came back up to help April 16-23. She was a welcome addition! It was great to have her on "Eli patrol" while we attempted to get into the hang of having a newborn again. BTW- check out Eli's new haircut! Daddy cut it. Direct quote from Aaron: "It only took two days and three lollipops to get done!"
