Comparison

Aunt Carolyn requested pictures of both boys at the same stage as newborns to do a comparison. It was hard to find two pictures with the same poses, but I did my best. What do you think? Do they favor one another in any way? I'd love your feedback!

Grammy's Visit

My mom came back up to help April 16-23. She was a welcome addition! It was great to have her on "Eli patrol" while we attempted to get into the hang of having a newborn again. BTW- check out Eli's new haircut! Daddy cut it. Direct quote from Aaron: "It only took two days and three lollipops to get done!"

Our boys

These two pictures speak volumes as to life in the Patton household this past week. Jacob requires a bit more TLC than Eli did as a baby (understatement of the century), and you can see Eli's perplexity with the situation. Of course, Eli has added to the chaos as he learns to adjust to having a sibling. So, pray for our sanity as we attempt to develop some sort of routine!

New look for the nursery

We got a new chair for the nursery that clashed horribly with the yellow walls we had in there. So, Aaron suggested painting the walls brown, and we love it! A little dirt to go with our bug theme! (All of this was done prior to Jacob's arrival, of course.)

Homecoming

We came home from the hospital on Friday, April 4. Check out how big the hospital pacifier is! Or, how is it more like how little Jacob is.... Aaron's mom (AKA "Nana") made Jacob's quilt in the background of the last picture. It's beautiful!

Here are some hospital pics. We can't get over how petite he is compared to Eli when he was born. You wouldn't think two pounds would make that much of a difference, but it does! I may post another round of pics in addition to this- hard to narrow down the cute pictures of Jacob! (Of course, as his mommy, I'm biased.)
